Donations for Research

NHS Grampian Charity funds support a wide range of research projects across Grampian, often in partnership with the University of Aberdeen. All applications for endowment research funding are first considered by NHS Grampian’s Research and Development Department which advises on the validity of the research.

As well as specific research projects, endowment funds also provide small grants for clinicians to undertake “starter” projects which may then develop into more extensive research.

All donations for research are used to fund local research for the benefit of people in Grampian.
