NHS Grampian Charity offers small grants to community groups throughout Grampian. Greig Manning successfully applied for a grant to refurbish the former phone box at Colpy and installed a defibrillator for the local community and A96 road users.
Neonatal Unit
NHS Grampian Charity commissioned Grampian Hospitals Arts Trust to come up with a design to make the Neonatal Unit more welcoming to parents and families. The giraffe theme has been welcomed by visitors to the Unit and the staff who are enjoying the improved surroundings.

Additional Bladder Scanner
Project 946 Maternity Hospital Bladder Scanner Midwifery staff applied for funding for an extra bladder scanner for their patients which is automatic and can better inform staff whether catheterisation is necessary. The Maternity Hospital’s General Purposes Fund funded the purchase of the bladder scanner.
