When the Eye Clinic moved to its new home in the Summer, NHS Grampian Charity was delighted to be able to upgrade and add to the Department’s equipment. The charity supported the fitting out of an additional cataract procedure room together equipped with the most up-to-date cataract removal system.

Aberlour Charity Football Match
Two local companies, Grants Electrical and Grants (Dufftown) Limited matched money collected at a charity football match organised by the young men of the village. £3,600 was raised for the Medical Ward at the Royal Aberdeen Childrens Hospital.
New Lasers for Radiotherapy
NHS Grampian Charity was pleased to provide additional positioning lasers for patients in radiotherapy. The new lasers make positioning more comfortable for patients and easier for staff to make sure patients are positioned in the best way for treatment.
One Stop Shop
NHS Grampian Charity was delighted to support the purchase of hysteroscopes to enable a one stop shop to be offered to women with post-menopausal bleeding. Some procedures can now be done during a clinic visit without the need for an overnight stay in hospital.
